Marketing Manager

Location: Calgary ( Remote)
Employment Type: Part-Time / Contract (Seasonal: Spring–Fall)

We’re a community-driven vintage resell and makers market celebrating craftsmanship, style, and culture. From western-inspired fashion to local artisans and live music, our events bring together people who appreciate creativity, nostalgia, and connection. We host 10–12 vibrant markets annually—mostly in the spring and summer—where local makers, collectors, and creators shine.

Position Overview:
We’re seeking a passionate and creative Marketing Manager to drive brand presence and audience growth across multiple channels. This part-time role offers flexibility and can easily complement your existing job or creative commitments. You’ll play a key role in shaping our voice through social media, print, and digital channels—before, during, and after each event.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing plans leading up to 10–12 annual events.

  • Utilize an existing branding kit to create fresh, cohesive materials including:

    • Social media campaigns and content calendars

    • Posters, flyers, and other print collateral

    • Digital advertisements and promotional graphics

  • Capture photos, videos, and live stories at events to build engaging content libraries.

  • Manage and grow multi-channel marketing presence (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, website, email).

  • Collaborate with event coordinators, vendors, and partners to ensure unified messaging.

  • Measure and report on marketing performance, audience engagement, and event attendance growth.

  • Stay tuned in to community trends, western culture, music, and fashion to keep content authentic and relatable.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in marketing, communications, or related creative field.

  • Proficiency with design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar).

  • Strong grasp of social media platforms, analytics, and engagement strategies.

  • Skilled in content creation—photography, video, and copywriting.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, especially with overlapping event deadlines.

  • Enthusiasm for vintage, makers culture, fashion, and community events.

  • Love for western culture and live music is a strong bonus!

  • able to travel for events to other cities in Alberta
